Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

That is so pathetic. I have never been prouder to be against the beauty industry. what a waste of money, time, and effort after effort to still never add up because after all, we all have flaws which the industry who pushes "flawlessness" use to warp us. Perfection is creepy and unnatural. It's interesting looking people who catch my eye more than typically beautiful ones.

You think this metal face cage is creepy? Try looking at a woman's face that hasn't healed yet after plastic surgery. Perfectly healthy women going in to get sliced open, letting some greedy doctor break your nose so you can be pretty. It's totally shameful and I don't care about the "personal fulfillment" reason, but it is each person's choice. Still when you have been brainwashed over and over by the same companies it's hard to say a woman has a real choice. They equate beauty with our worth and then make it impossible to attain it so there's an endless quest to find it. Just watch a few of these commercials in a row and you will see the message if you haven't before.

Advertising has always used basic psychology to sell products, even if you don't think you are receiving a message you really are or they wouldn't spend billions to reach a few. Ads work, and beauty ads are some of the craftiest around. Maybe she's born with it? Maybe it's mabeline....to hell with you I AM born with it.
